The one thing I don’t like to live up to is stereotypes. I would describe myself as bohemian country chic with a little bit of badass-ery thrown in. The above quote describes me to a T. Even when I feel like giving up, I fight back with everything I have and eventually come out back on top.
Dance is life. I have been dancing ballet, jazz, modern, and hip hop for 16 years and have recently added country swing and line dancing to my arsenol. Not only has country dancing given me a cross between my love of country music and my love of dancing, it has helped me to lose weight and stay in shape.
I am also mildy obsessed with color guard and winter guard. I have been doing that for 16 years as well. Rifle is my favorite piece of equipment and I thoroughly enjoy performing a show in front of an audience. There is no better feeling than being out in the floor with my team mates doing what we all love. Even though our performance is approximately 4 minutes (depending on the show) it is the best 4 minutes of my life. No drug in the world can give you that great of a high.
There are a lot more things that make me who I am but you’ll have to read my blog posts to see more.
